South Point native Virginia Delong takes a walk Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the March of Dimes’ annual Walk America, which will be held in Ashland April 28. Delong, 79, has been walking in the event for the past seven years. Last year, she raised over $1,800, the most collected by an individual participating in the event.
