The River Cities LocoMotives are hosting the rival Johnstown J-Dogs this weekend, but the game will be at 7 p.m. Friday instead of the originally scheduled Saturday date.

The J-Dogs have won all four meetings this season including a game in Huntington last month in which a fight broke out among players and some J-Dogs fans were ejected from the Huntington Civic Arena.

Any tickets printed for Saturday will be honored for the National Indoor Football League game.

Halftime show

Known for their great halftime shows, the LocoMotives will follow parliamentary procedure this week as The Parliaments will perform at intermission.

The Parliaments are a local group of entertainers who formed their group in the 1960s and sing up-beat songs featuring strong harmonies that always seem to get fans dancing in their seats.

New Offices

The LocoMotives have moved their offices to 401 10th St., Suite 105, and their post office box address is now P.O. Box 152, Huntington, W.Va., 25706-0152. Fans can call 304-525-5590 to order tickets. A new 800 number will be in place soon.

Ticket Discount

Davis Chrysler, Plymouth & Jeep is sponsoring a special discounted ticket for Friday’s game. Fans can get $2 off any ticket for this one game.

Food Drive Continues

The LocoMotives food drive, in conjunction with Clear Channel Group of Radio Stations, will be held before Friday’s game.

The one who brings the most food to the game will be presented a LocoMotives T-shirt and sideline passes.

All food is donated to the Huntington City Mission. More than 1,000 cans have been donated so far this season.
