Jesse Gannon of Trimat Construction works at the corners of Park Avenue and Eighth Street, stopping traffic for trucks hauling dirt from Tenth Street to Lawrence Street where the company is working on apartments. Gannon said he has been working outside since last Thursday. He said he and his coworkers keep jugs of water really close to combat the high heat and humidity.
