Next season the Rock Hill Redmen will move into a new football stadium. The final home game at Redmen Stadium will be Friday night when Rock Hill hosts the South Point Pointers in a 7:30 p.m. Ohio Valley Conference matchup.

In order to commemorate the event, former Rock Hill football players, cheerleaders, and band members are being asked to meet on the field before the game for a special ceremony.

"If those people attending would like to come down, we are asking them to join in our pregame activities and we’ll make a few announcements and some dedications," Rock Hill principal Steve Lambert said.

The pregame festivities will include a look at the history of the program during its years at the current home field as well as some of the performances of past players and a look at the team’s Ohio Valley Conference championship seasons.

Rock Hill finishes this season with three away games: Portsmouth, Fairland, and Chesapeake.
