Often, the best way a person can be assured they vote for who they feel is the right person for the job is to get information straight from the horse’s mouth.
Ironton residents will have that opportunity as the Co-Operative Club will host a "Meet the Candidates Night" tonight at 7 p.m. at Ohio University Southern Campus’ Bowman Auditorium. Most of those running for Ironton City Council and the Ironton Board of Education will participate. This is a chance to not only meet the candidates, but also hear what he or she feels they will bring to the job.
After discussing their platforms, the candidates will field questions from the audience, through moderator Bob Smith. This is your chance to find out which individuals you feel will best represent you and your family.
The best voter is the educated voter.
