At approximately 3:49 a.m. Monday, deputies received a call about suspicious activity on Deering-Bald Knob Road. When deputy Aaron Bollinger went to investigate, he found one of the ATVs at Andis School. The suspects had allegedly left the area to get gas for the ATVs. When they returned with the gas, Bollinger arrested them.

Eighteen-year-old Amber Pack, 18-year-old Russell Deerfield, 18-year-old Andrew Holland and 20-year-old Jason Church have all been charged with grand theft. When arrested, all of the suspects gave the same address on Rankins Creek Road as their home address.

All four people appeared in Ironton Municipal Court Monday afternoon. Each was given a $5,000 bond and a March 21 date for a preliminary hearing.

"We really appreciate it when the public gets involved," Sheriff Tim Sexton said. "If it weren’t for a citizen getting involved and calling us, we may not have had the success that we did."

The three Yamaha four-wheelers have been returned to the owner.
