Feb. 17, 1922-May 7, 2002 ASHLAND, Ky. -- Betty L. Rowe, 80, of Ashland died Tuesday at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods.

The Rappsburg, Ohio, native was born Feb. 17, 1922, the daughter of the late McKinley and Mable Ferris Rowe.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ashland.

Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Rowe of Flatwoods, and Elsie J. and Bill McCarty of Kitts Hill, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Patty Rowe of South Point, Ohio; two nieces, Beverly Gaskin of South Point, and Sue Ann Egan of Geneva, Ill.; and one nephew, William Keith McCarty of Kitts Hill.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home in Chesapeake, Ohio, with the Rev. Jim Goldsmith officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Ridge Cemetery, Scottown, Ohio, Visitation will be 12:30-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
