Minnie Piguet

July 14, 1935-May 14, 2002 Minnie Burke Piguet, 66, of Ironton died Tuesday at Middletown Regional Hospital.

The Ironton native was born July 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice Sisler Wilson.

She was the wife of the late Donald Piguet.

She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She attended Ironton schools and she received her BA degree in psychology from Urbana College.

She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul J. Burke; one son, Danny Joe Burke; three daughters, Linda Hale, Elizabeth Burke and Kathy Burke; and three sisters, Deloris Schwab, Rachel Jones and Barbara Gafford.

Survivors include four sons, David S. Burke of Ironton, Paul Jesse Burke of Hendersonville, Tenn., Timothy W. and Karen Burke of Alpharetta, Ga., and Ralph and Tammie Burke of Ironton; one daughter, Margie and David Price of Sciotoville; one brother, George Wilson of White Oak, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hayes-Phillips Funeral Home, with elder Glenn Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
