Oct. 27, 1935-June 7, 2002 SOUTH POINT -- Ruth L. Hutchinson, 66, of South Point died Saturday at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

The Ironton native was born Oct. 27, 1935, the daughter of the late William R. Blevins and Agnes VanReed Blevins Shank. She was a former employee of the Ranco Refinery in Delaware, Ohio, and a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Blevins.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Vonda Fritz and William E. Fritz, all of South Point; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Old Baptist Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim Cremeans officiating. There will be no visitation. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
