Justice told authorities Tennison had recently made threats against him. Tennison allegedly came to Justice’s camper on the Tennison property and began hitting him with his fist.

Justice told Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies that when he pulled out a pipe that he kept for self-defense, Tennison took it from him and hit him with it, too.

Justice was taken to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Tennison allegedly admitted he hit Justice because Justice had stolen a pair of socks from his home.

Also, an Ironton woman was cited into court Sunday after a fight in Fayette Township.

Chastity Gee, 19, of 804 S. 10th Street, is accused of hitting and pulling the hair of a female juvenile.

The juvenile claimed Gee had threatened to come to her house and beat her up. The girl told authorities Gee had been put up to calling her by another girl with whom she had been having problems. Teresa Moore/The Ironton Tribune
