PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (AP) -- U.S. Open runner-up Venus Williams was uninjured when the car she was riding in crashed west of Palm Beach Gardens over the weekend.

The crash occurred either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, Palm Beach County Sheriff spokesman Jay Hart said Tuesday. The crash report had not been submitted so details were limited.

Williams' half-brother, Richard Williams III, 37, and his wife, Ana, 36, also were in the vehicle. They were treated and released. The Associated Press
