Collison keys Kansas rout

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Nick Collison had 19 points and 11 rebounds as No. 9 Kansas beat Iowa State 70-51 Sunday in a game that included four technical fouls and the ejection of Cyclone coach Larry Eustachy.

Wayne Simien also returned from a shoulder injury and Kirk Hinrich added 19 points for the Jayhawks (19-5, 9-1 Big 12). Aaron Miles had 14 points, nine assists and a Kansas-record nine steals.

Eustachy, arguing a call against Jackson Vroman, drew first one and then another technical foul and was ejected with 12:08 left in the second half.

Miles made three of the ensuing four free throws and Kansas led 45-31. But then a minute later, a near-brawl ensued under the Kansas basket when Vroman shoved Simien.

Sullivan had 18 points for Iowa State (12-9, 2-8) and Jared Homan had 10.
