Duvendeck hired as Tribune home delivery manager

Richard L. Duvendeck II has joined the staff of The Ironton Tribune as its home delivery manager.
Duvendeck, 32, of South Point comes to The Tribune after working as a funeral attendant at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home in Ironton and as route builder and driver for Schwan's in the South Point and Chesapeake area.
"I'm excited to be working for the newspaper and look forward to meeting new people," Duvendeck said.
"Richard's background with route delivery and his intelligence will prove invaluable to our newspaper as we serve the needs of our customers," said publisher Kevin Cooper.
An Ironton native, Duvendeck and his family moved to Texas in his childhood. He graduated from Alvin High School in Alvin, Texas.
He returned to South Point about 12 years ago.
Duvendeck and his wife, Terri, have two sons, Colby and Matthew.
