Owners of Fabrique are encouraged by the first couple weeks of business.

Fabrique, a new home furnishings store in Ironton, opened two weeks ago in the Park Avenue Apartments at 202 Park Ave.

One of the store's owners, Cynthia Christy, has said that the store has mostly been attracting middle-aged women interested in decorating their homes.

Overall, the store has had a good response from the Tri-State area thus far,

Christy said.

"We have had a good start and, hopefully, our customer base will grow," she said.

The store is owned by Christy and Tabitha Lawless.

Fabrique is focused in interior design, including design fabrics and accessories.

Its hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
