Man killed in mower accident

WILLOW WOOD - A Huntington, W.Va., man was killed Sunday evening in a mowing accident.
Jimmy Duncan, 65, of 550 West 10th Avenue was mowing with a John Deere commercial lawnmower at the Lake Forest property located off State Route 378 in Windsor Township. He was later discovered by of the property's residents with the mower turned over on top of him, pinned against a tree, according to information from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Tim Sexton said the call came into the Sheriff's Office at 7:41 p.m. and Deputy Darin Hamlin arrived at the scene at 7:52 p.m. Duncan was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lawrence County Coroner's Office assisted at the scene.
