Ya know, I specializes in pickin' football games, but doctors is the best specialists I know of.

I know five surgeon specialists and I wuz talkin' with them one day about who had the easiest specialized area.

The first surgeon says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table, because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."

The second responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded."

The third surgeon says, "No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order."

The fourth surgeon chimes in: "You know, I like engineers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end, and

when the job takes longer than you said it would."

But the fifth surgeon shut them all up when he observed: "You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, and no spine, and the head and butt are interchangeable."

One thing that's the same, they all has to wait an hour in the waitin' room before the doctor comes in.

Welp, someone got sick fer the second time in 25 years and I didn't git my picks in last week. It weren't a bad week at 11-5, but I don't gits to count it. I wuz 10-3 the first week. Maybe the old 103-degree temperature sissy will type my story before he weenies out again.

Chesapeake at Symmes Valley: They say this backyard brawl has a lot of flavor. I disagrees. I think it's kinda Bland. Chesapeake 18, Symmes Valley 14.

Coal Grove at Fairview: Speakin' of fair views, the Eagles running back Chris Jennings is something to see. Fairview 28, Coal Grove 21.

Wayne at South Point: Ya have to think the Pie-on-ears will make it two straight over an OVC opponent. Wayne 21, South Point 10.

Fairland at Pike View: The only thing that could make this long ride to and from bearable would be a win. Here's to a bearable trip. Fairland 27, Pike View 6.

Green at Waterford: Speakin' of unbearable trips … Waterford 22, Green 12.

Lucasville Valley at Wheelersburg: This is supposed to be the year Valley finally gits the Pirates. Fer some reason, I don't see this dream comin' true. Wheelersburg 21, Lucasville Valley 19.

Others: Portsmouth over Chillicothe, Northwest over Piketon, Wellston over Waverly, Minford over Huntington Ross, Sciotoville East over Federal Hocking, Ports. Notre Dame over Oberlin, Ashland over Russell, Ky., Rocky & Bullwinkle over Russell.
