AID - The Green Bobcats scored four runs in the seventh inning to rally past the Symmes Valley Vikings 9-7 Monday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.

Caleb Bland hit a three-run homer in the third inning that put the Vikings up 4-3.

Justin Holland belted a two-run homer in the fifth as Symmes Valley went ahead 6-5.

In the top of the seventh, Odie Kelly was safe on an error, Brian Ramey walked and Travis Klaiber had an RBI single. Ryan Klaiber walked. Mark Castro and Dustin Williams had run-scoring singles.

Ryan Bloomfield then delivered a two-run single that put the Bobcats up 9-6.

Holland came back and hit a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh, but the Vikings were unable to score any more runs and Green came away with the SOC win.

Ryan Bloomfield got the win in relief. He struck out two and did not walk a batter. He also went 3-5 as Green collected 10 hits.

Holland was 3-4, Owens 2-3 and Bland 2-4 to lead the Vikings.

Symmes Valley is 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the SOC.
