The Ironton Fighting Tigers extended their Region 15 Division IV lead over Martins Ferry in this week's Ohio High School Athletic Association computer ratings.

Ironton, 6-0, has a 13.9166 average from its 119.5 point total, which is 33 points ahead of Martins Ferry after leading by 23.5 points last week.

Martins Ferry has an 11.5200 average to remain second. Bellaire is third followed by New Albany, Wellston, Portsmouth, West Muskingum and Belmont Union Local.

Wheelersburg, 5-1, climbed to second in Region 19 of Division V after its 10-7 win over Portsmouth and trails

only Amanda Clearcreek.

Chesapeake, 4-2, is eighth in the region with a 6.8633 average. Coal Grove, 4-2, is 14th with a 5.6333 average.

Symmes Valley, 4-1, is still fifth in Region 23 of Division VI with a 6.6170 average.

The top eight teams in each region of each division go to the playoffs at the end of the regular season.
