PROCTORVILLE - Due to this week's inclement weather, striping operations for the Ohio Department of Transportation's state Route 7 widening project in Lawrence County have been postponed temporarily.
Crews from TAB Construction were scheduled to apply permanent lane lines to the route and complete finishing work this week. This project, however, has been postponed until the rain showers subside. Currently, crews are rescheduled to begin striping the route Friday and continue through Sunday.
Once operations resume, the contractors will be working within the project zone between state routes 607 and 243 in Proctorville and Rome Township during daytime business hours.
