Blevins allegedly attacked an Ashland, Ky., man who remains hospitalized at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.

Williams was arrested for her part in the crime, Carey said.

"Blevins indicated that (Williams) knew what was going to happen. There are actually people in the bar who saw her lead (the victim) out the door," Carey said. "Blevins was out the door shortly after."

Williams remains incarcerated in the Lawrence County Jail after being arraigned Monday. Bond was set at $25,000.

Her preliminary hearing will be Wednesday.

The incident began in the early morning hours of Nov. 14 when the Ironton police were summoned to investigate a report of a man lying beaten in the bar’s parking lot. At that time, authorities received a tip that a man and a woman were seen leaving the area in a small red car with temporary tags.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports, deputies were later called to a residence on County Road 25 in Pedro in reference to a fight. A resident there told deputies Blevins had come to his house and had threatened him and others.

According to the reports, as deputies Carol Kitts and Rob Van Keuren approached the residence a car allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed fled the scene. The vehicle was later recovered in a meadow near County Road 25.

Williams was found in the car at the time and was taken to the Ironton Police Department for questioning. Blevins allegedly fled on foot, pursued by authorities.

Blevins eluded authorities at that time but was later apprehended.

He is also charged with taking a Pontiac Grand Am from a residence on County Road 27, Pedro, Sunday. The car was located by Scioto County Sheriff’s deputies.
