Pedro teen killed, two injured in crash

ADAMS COUNTY - A Pedro teen is dead, two other children injured after a two vehicle accident at the intersection of state routes 32 and 73 in Adams County Thursday afternoon.

Megan Sly, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her brother and sister, 5-year-old Nathan Sly and 12-year-old Zoe Sly were taken to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati where they are both listed in serious condition, according to Danny Rymer, dispatcher for the Ohio State Highway Patrol Post in Georgetown.

The mother of the children, Marsha Sly, 38, also of Pedro, was treated at Adams County Hospital and released.

Rymer said Sly was southbound on State Route 73 headed toward Portsmouth when she apparently turned into the path of a Dodge Ram truck driven by Frank Salyers, of Adams County.

The accident happened at 12:40 Thursday afternoon.
