Six arrested in drug raid in Ironton

Six Tri-State residents are behind bars after a drug raid in Ironton Monday.

Members of the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Task Force raided the home of Pamela Gordon at 157 Township Road 310 in Ironton, the culmination of an ongoing investigation.

Police confiscated a handgun, more than 15 grams of crack cocaine, pills, drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of money.

Six people were arrested on drug trafficking and possession charges.

Amanda Cade, 22, of 32 Count Road 7, Ironton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher L. McKinley, 26, of 1154 13th St., Portsmouth, was charged with trafficking crack cocaine, possession of criminal tools, having weapons while under disability.

Gordon, 44, was charged with trafficking crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine.

John E. Ackison, 40, of 1190 County Road 1, South Point, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Danielle L. Waller, 20, 801 Brown St., Flatwoods, Ky., was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jack W. Dobbs, 32, 32 Count Road 7, Ironton, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The cases will go to the grand jury the next time it convenes.
