"These arrests and the recent indictments of several others continues to show our on-going commitment to keep Lawrence County communities and schools as drug-free as possible," Lawrence County Sheriff Tim Sexton said. "We operate daily with limited resources and it seems each year we continue to hear threats if additional budget cuts. But when you consider the efforts and successes of our Drug/Major Crime Task Force, I would put their accomplishments up against any task force in this state."

Lawrence County Drug Task Force agents recovered eight grams of crack cocaine and nearly $2,000 in the raid.
