RACELAND, Ky. - Mandy Estep showed the Raceland Lady Rams how to hit. She just didn't let them.

Estep collected three hits including two doubles and a triple to back her own no-hit pitching Tuesday in a 2-0 shutout of the Raceland Lady Rams.

Estep struck out six and walked just two in taming the Lady Rams over seven innings.

"Mandy did a great job pitching. She had a big game," Redwomen coach Mary Harper said. "We had a real good game. We did a real good job of making contact with the ball."

Rock Hill got the only run it needed in the fourth inning when Estep tripled and Bobbi Harper singled.

The Redwomen took a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning. Sarah Stamper doubled, took third on a passed ball and Brooke Long got a run-scoring single.

Rock Hill, 9-4, hosts South Point Wednesday in a key Ohio Valley Conference game.

In a doubleheader on Saturday, Rock Hill swept Jackson 10-0 in five innings and won 6-1 in game two.

Candice Chaffins and Estep were 2-3 inthe first game while McFann went 3-3 and Brooke Long 2-3 in the nightcap.
