PINE GROVE - The Ladies 9-Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club recently held its opening day for the 2005 season.

The game consisted of only one club being used by each team member for the 9-hole round of golf with competition between two teams

The winning team was comprised of Rose Auble, Joyce Fields, Irene Howard, Joyce Lewis and Nancy Livingston.

A luncheon buffet followed the outing.

Co-chairmen for this season are Nancy Livingston and Midge Payne. Meetings are held at 9:30 a.m. each Tuesday with a 10 a.m. tee time.

The 9-Hole Golf Association welcomes any new or past members to join.
