SOUTH POINT - The South Point Lady Pointers don't leave anything to chance. They have instructions to follow.

South Point did things by the book Monday as they scored the winning run in the seventh inning and beat the Rock Hill Redwomen 6-5 in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

"We struggled and made some mistakes, but we manufactured a run in the seventh inning. We couldn't have scripted it better," Lady Pointers coach Steve Baise said. "Summer Malone and Ashley Patrick both just drove the ball."
