#039;Meet The Coaches#039; set tonight

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall fans know the new head football coach's name is Mark Snyder. Now they can put a face with the name.

"Meet The Coaches" will be at 7 p.m. today at the Marshall Hall of Fame Caf\u00E9 on Third Avenue and Ninth Street as fans will be able to casually meet Snyder and his staff.

Besides meeting the coaches, fans will be able to view sports on 20 televisions and view a huge collection of authentic Herd memorabilia and trophies at the caf\u00E9.

At 8 p.m., "Meet The Coaches" will shift to the campus at The Union on Fourth Ave. just past 12th Street.

Besides Snyder, other members of the coaching staff include: offensive coordinator Larry Kueck, defensive coordinator Jimmy Collins, George Darlington, Mike Cummings, Thielen Smith, Shane Miles, Shannon Morrison, Todd Goebbel and Jared Smith.

Other members of the athletic staff will be available, too. Expected to appear are assistant athletic director for football OPS Mark Gale, video coordinator Brad Helton, strength and conditioning coach Mike Cochran, program assistant Edna Justice, head football trainer Josh Signs, and head equipment manger Rich Worner.

Anyone who was unable to attend "Meet The Coaches" will be able to listen to Snyder's comments on WDGG-FM 93.7 radio each morning Monday through Friday.

Kindred Communications, home of WDGG 93.7-FM and WRVC 930-AM, the flagship stations of the Thundering Herd/ISP Sports Radio Network as well as the HERD Insider magazine, is sponsoring the event.

Marshall opens the season Sept. 1 at home against William & Mary.
