PORTSMOUTH — We’re good to go.
The Green Bobcats four seniors made their final regular season game a good finish to their careers with an 82-29 rout of the Portsmouth Notre Dame Titans Friday.
Green finishes 12-8 overall and third in the South Ohio Conference at 10-4.
Senior Derek Lewis had 20 points including six 3-pointers to go with eight assists for Green. Senior Brian Ramey had 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists and Nathan Patten scored 19 points.
“It was a good win. To finish the regular season 12-8 against a tough schedule is a tribute to our players and our four seniors,” Green coach Kevin Lewis said.
“Nathan, Brian and Derek all had good games. It’s nice to see Brian and Derek go out on a positive note.”
Derek Lewis scored 11 points including three treys in the first quarter as Green jumped ahead 24-5.
Ramey, Lewis and Patten scored six points each in the second quarter as the lead grew to an insurmountable 46-16 at the half.
The Bobcats extended the lead to 65-27 after three quarters as Patten scored five more points.
Randy Ratcliff had seven points to lead the Green backups in the fourth quarter.
