PEDRO — Rock Hill Redmen coach Barry Litteral isn’t one to complain.

Despite a sluggish performance, Litteral was more than happy with his team’s 7-5 win over the Oak Hill Oaks Thursday.

“It wasn’t a pretty win, but a win is a win. We’ll take it,” Litteral said.

Brad Davis hit a three-run homer in the first inning as Oak Hill took a 4-0 lead.

Rock Hill got a run back in the fifth inning.

Nick Howard walked, moved up on a wild pitch and scored on a hit by K.C. Christian.

The Redmen then erupted for six runs in the sixth inning.

Carl Blankenship and Josh Guy opened the inning with singles. Mark Anderson grounded out as the runners moved up.

Howard was safe on a fielder’s choice to leave the bases loaded. After a force out at home, T.J. Blagg walked to force in a run.

Michael Williams was safe on a two-base error as two scored. Josh Moore doubled in two runs and J.C. Murnahan doubled in the final run.

Bobby Kidd hit a solo home run in the seventh inning for the Oaks.

Rock Hill, 10-2, hosts South Point Friday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
