ROME TOWNSHIP — Tobacco judging and market lamb judging were among the activities Monday at the Lawrence County Junior Fair.

In the tobacco judging, John Wiseman, of the Symmes Valley Future Farmers of America earned the grand champion trophy and Kirt Shipley of Starlite 4-H Club garnered the reserve champion trophy.

Both young men have one thing in common. They both come from farming families that raise tobacco.
