The favorite lived up to its billing.

West Union was the odds-on favorite to win the Ironton Invitational on Monday, and the Dragons did just that in relative easy fashion by 39 strokes.

“West Union has a really strong team. They were really good last year and they have everyone back. They’re the team to beat in our district,” Ironton coach Jeff Kerns said.
