The Ohio University Activity Band is looking for new members.

Anyone who with high school band experience, an acceptable level of music reading and musicianship skills and with access to a band instrument is welcome to participate.

Percussion instruments are provided. A brief interview and/or audition is required of all new members.

The band will begin fall quarter rehearsals on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 5:30-7:20 p.m.

Rehearsals will be held in the Campus/Community building located on Bob Lutz Way beside Central Christian Church.

The band’s first performance will be on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 3 p.m. for Ohio University Southern’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
