PROCTORVILLE — Jordan Fulks had everything going her way. That meant nothing was going right for the South Gallia Lady Rebels.

Fulks pitched a four-inning no-hitter as the Fairland Lady Dragons shutout the Lady Rebels 10-0 Tuesday.

Fulks struck out 10 of the 12 outs and did not walk a batter.

“She was in control from the beginning. Her speed looked impressive and her control was great. All her pitches were working the way she wanted,” Fairland coach Leroy Baise said.

The Lady Dragons got a run in the first inning when Megan Auxier walked, Kirstyn Midkiff reached on an error and Fulks singled.

In a 4-run third inning, MacKenzie Rucker walked, stole second and third, and Auxier singled and Midkiff walked to load the bases. Fulks hit into a fielder’s choice for a run, Beth Schlegel also hit into a fielder’s choice for a run, Shelby Fuller singled in a run and Sarah Simms was safe on an error as a run scored.

Fairland put the game away with five runs in fourth inning.

Rucker and Auxier walked and Midkiff singled to load the bases. Fulks hit a long line drive over the rightfielder’s head that continued to roll since there was no fence and all four runners scored on the grand slam.

Schlegel was safe on an error, stole second and came home on a hit by Simms.
