“Baseball, great weather and hot dogs. What a great combination,” said Zornes.

The idea of

“Quarter Hot Dog Night” was initiated last year by Zornes who wanted to make it an annual event.

“I benefited from little league baseball and I want to see it succeed,” said Zornes who bought all the hot dogs, buns, and sauce.

However, the little league will keep all proceeds from the sales.

“I believe strongly that the little league goes a long way in giving our kids something to do and it is great when big crowds come out and support the kids,” said Zornes.

“I hope a lot of people will come out Monday night, grab a 25-cent hot dog or three, and watch these kids play their hearts out.”

The schedule has three tee-ball and two minor league games beginning at 5 p.m.. A girls’ softball game will start at 5:30.
