There was nothing unlucky about Friday the 13th for the Ironton Fighting Tigers tennis team.

Ironton won all five matches in the Southeastern Ohio Athletic League contest.

In singles play, Ironton’s J.C. Kinney downed the Trojans Nick Nelson 6-4, 6-2, Matt Jones beat Josh Nelson 6-0, 6-4, and No. 3 Seth Christian stopped Gavin Dillow 6-2, 6-0.

In doubles play, the Fighitng Tigers Lovell Medcalf and Rob Downs teamed up to beat Drew Throckmorton and Blake Porter, 6-1, 6-0, while Austin Cornett and Joey Pauley handled Adam Tatum and Andrew Simon 6-0, 6-1.

Ironton visits Jackson Tuesday in a league match.
