A little of everything.

A new store on Ironton’s western end offers something for nearly everyone. The Variety Shop at 2727 S. Fourth St. opened May 1.

Sisters Phyllis Lucas and Debbie Millhouse offer Christian collectibles, small items of furniture, used clothing, NASCAR hats and collectibles, porcelain dolls, John Deere mugs, photo frames, dream catchers, fishing gear and fiber optic nic nacs, to name a few of the offerings. Some of the items are new, some used, all of it looking for a new home.

“We try to make sure things are in top condition before we offer them,” Lucas said.

In conjunction with the store, Millhouse also sells online at www.millhousetreasures.com. She has already had some success at drawing customers from out of town to see what is for sale.

“Two ladies from Chillicothe came to see what we have,” Lucas said.

The store is open 9a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information call 532-0041.
