COAL GROVE — The plan is the same. So are the results.

The Rock Hill Redwomen used the same game plan to stay unbeaten in seven games with an 11-1 win over the Coal Grove Lady Hornets Monday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

“It’s the same old, same old. Pitching and defense has been the key. We’re just taking it one game at a time. We’re not looking past our next game,” Redwomen coach Mary Harper said.

The pitching came from Bobbi Harper who gave up only three hits, struck out 10 and did not walk a batter.

Rock Hill took a 2-0 lead in the first inning.l

Katrina Settle doubled and Jazel DeAutremont singled her home but was thrown out trying for a double.

Bobbi Harper then singled, Shelli Harper doubled and Candice Chaffins walked to load the bases. Brooke Skinner hit into a fielder’s choice as the run scored.

In the second, Kristyn Phillips walked, Settle doubled and DeAutremont walked to load the bases. Bobbi Harper hit into a force play as Phillips scored. After a fielder’s choice, Candice Chaffins singled to refill the bases and Skinner walked to force in the run.

The lead went to 5-0 in the fourth inning. Bobbi Harper singled and Shelli Harper’s sacrifice sent her to third base. Chaffins followed with an RBI single.

Two more runs scored in the sixth.

Chaffins reached on an error, Skinner walked, Kim Moore singled and Chaffins scored on the throw from the outfield. Phillips got a base hit to plate Moore.

Rock Hill put the game out of reach with four runs in the seventh.

DeAutremont and Bobbi Harper were safe on errors, Chaffins walked and Skinner reached on an error as a run scored. Moore doubled home two more runs and Samantha Harris grounded out as Skinner scored.

Rock Hill (7-0, 4-0) visits Chesapeake Wednesday.
