He was taken into custody while at work.

A female customer noticed the cameras and alerted management, according to a report from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

Friend is being charged with videotape, film, photograph, or otherwise recording a person under or through the clothing.

A spokesperson with Lowe’s Companies, Inc., declined comment Tuesday, but said the company was cooperating with local authorities.

Friend is scheduled for arraignment Friday in Lawrence County Municipal Court.
