Scott and Cynthia Boyd of Ironton announce the birth of a daughter, Lori Belle. She was born March 11, 2008 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Tom Baker of Kitts Hill and the late Lori Baker. Maternal great grandparents are Ray and Betty Adams of Ironton and the late Bill Stapleton, Darrell and Norma Baker of Huntington, W.Va., and Roger and Sue Skaggs of Huntington, W.Va.

Paternal grandparents are Alvin and Laurie Boyd of Ironton. Paternal great grandparents are Glenn and Marie Stamper of Ironton.
