WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Mary Eleanor Bailey, 78, of Washington Court House, formerly of Ohio Furnace, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Court House Manor, Washington Court House.
She was born July 14, 1930, in Superior, Wis., a daughter of the late Mark Ernest and Sarah Eleanor Belle VanVoris Willoughby. She attended St. Paul Bible Institute, taught Sunday school, and was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church and Grace Baptist Church in Wisconsin.
Preceding her in death with her husband, David Clair Bailey, on Feb. 6, 1995; two brothers, Carl and Jim Willoughby; and a sister, Alice Berge, preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and David Lavender of Washington Court House; a son, Dale Bailey of Tomah, Wis.; three grandsons; and a brother, Donald Willoughby of St. Paul, Minn. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home with Pastor Sean Fox and the Rev. Dennis Hankins. Burial will be in Haverhill Cemetery. Visitation is an hour prior to service.
