Phyllis Elizabeth Wilson Lemasters, 74, of Ironton, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
The Lawrence County native was born Dec.15, 1933, the daughter of the late Bill and Blanche Crabtree Wilson.
She attended the Jackson Vocational School. She attended Sheridan Baptist Church and was a nurse’s aide for the CAO for five years.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, John G. Wheeler; her second husband, Carlos E. Lemasters; three sisters, Shirley Bowen, Mary Lou Damron and Betsy Calloway; and a brother, Cap Wilson.
She is survived by six sons and three daughters-in-law, John Wheeler, of Ironton, Mike Wheeler, of Kitts Hill, Joseph and Colleen Wheeler of West Minster, Colo., Brian and Annetta Wheeler, of Kitts Hill, James and Tonya Lemasters, of Ironton, and Eric Lemasters, of Ironton; six daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Kermit Webb, of Kitts Hill, Karen and Rick Diamond of Kitts Hill, Sharon and Michael Hairston, of Ironton, Janet and Bill Smith, of Ironton, Tara and Jeremy Collins, of Coal Grove, and Ada Sue and Arnold Wallace, of Grundy, Va.; two brothers, Pete Wilson, of Ocala, Fla., and Buster Wilson, of Ironton; two sisters, Patty Martin, of Ironton, and Sandy Ray, of Columbus; 29 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, with Bro. Dave Schug officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
