Patricia Pierce, 78, of Ironton, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
She was born July 8, 1930, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late E.D. and Ruth Davis McGhee. She was a kindergarten teacher and homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught the primary Sunday school class and was a Brownie Scout leader.
Surviving are her husband, James Herbert Pierce; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home by the Rev. Dennis Strawn. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
