WESTWOOD, Ky. — Lonnie William Evans Sr., 82, of Westwood, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Community Hospice Care Center. He was the husband of Garnett Maynard Evans, who survives. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Rockdale Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Hutchinson and Frank Carl officiating. Military honors will be conducted by V.F.W. 8850 of Ironton. A private committal service will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Preston Family Funeral Home.
