Berry’s Christmas concert tour has become something of a tradition, as has his annual Valentine-themed “Love Tour.”

For Berry, it is about performing the music he loves.

“This is about the songs,” he said. “This is about what these songs have got to say. This is about me communicating these messages. Having a conversation, and Let me tell you a story.”

Berry has performed at the PAC seven times in the past decade.

Tyson Compton, the Paramount’s marketing director, said his shows have done well.

“He has a strong and loyal fan base here and they support him every time, Plus, their word of mouth brings in new attendees each time.” Compton said. “We are always glad to have John at the Paramount. He is as great a person as he is a performer.”

Berry runs and releases recordings on his own label, Clear Sky Records. Among the recent releases have been Berry’s “Celebrate This Christmas,” “Hits,” “O’ Holy Night Live,” “I Give My Heart,” and “Songs and Stories.”
