Indictments for drunken driving, burglary and theft were handed down late last month when the Lawrence County grand jury convened. According to information from the office of Lawrence County Prosecutor J.B. Collier, Jr., those indicted were:

— Donald R. Large, 29, of 2715 S. Fifth St., Ironton, one count each of having a weapon under a disability and possession of criminal tools and two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs with a firearm specification.

— Harold Spradling, 39, of 72 Township Road 279E, South Point, one count each of breaking and entering and theft, and his co-defendant,

— Ronnie France, 30, 1618 County Road 144, South Point, also one count each of breaking and entering and theft.

— Brian W. Potter, 31, 1322 County Road 32, Chesapeake, operating a motor vehicle under the influence having had six prior such convictions within the last 20 years.

— Brandy Beckleheimer, 21, Ashland, Ky., theft from the elderly.

— David L. Malone, 25, 1112S. Fifth St., Ironton, three counts of sexual battery involving a minor.

— Richard W. Young Jr., 24, 16144 State Route 7, Crown City, one count each of breaking and entering and theft.

—William D. Mollette II, 26, Haverhill, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

— Candy Long, 29, 157 Township Road 1425, South Point, one count each of aggravated trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs and endangering children.

— Kelli Welch, 44, 30 Township Road 1306, Proctorville, one count each of burglary and aggravated trespassing.

—Wendell Cruse, 51, 322 Fourth Ave., Chesapeake, one count each of possession of crack cocaine, forgery and resisting arrest.

— Christina Ross, 25, 125 Township Road 1070, Chesapeake, theft, and her co-defendant,

— Brandy Bender, 25, Commercial Point, one count each of receiving stolen property and forgery.

—Randy G. Barnett, 35, 317 Township Road 935, South Point, one count each of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Tanya Middleton, 24, 2542 S. 11th St., Ironton, illegal processing of drug documents.

— Christy Stricker, 55, Granville, one count each of possession of drugs and theft of drugs.

— John R. Crager, 22, 301 Third St. East, South Point, one count each of burglary and theft by deception.

— John R. Lindbeck, 65, of 503 Third St., South Point, domestic violence.

— Phillip M. Frye, 22, 104 Prichard St., Proctorville, one count each of burglary and grand theft.

The grand jury met Oct. 30 and 31.
