Noveda P. “Pill” Hubbard, 71, of Ironton, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. She was born Oct. 11, 1937, in Lawrence County, a daughter of the late Violet Lee (Lucille) Hughes Walden and Harold Maddy.
She was also preceded in death by a son, William Lee (Buddy) Hubbard Jr., and a brother, Harold Meredith (Matt) Maddy.
Surviving are a daughter, Sheila Hubbard of Belfair, Wash., three sister, Shirley Walden of Coal Grove, Gloria Wheeler and her husband, Raymond of Shelby, and Beverly Arthurs and her husband, Bob, of Camden; a brother, Evan Walden and his wife, Claudia of Schenectady, N.Y.; and a grandson.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jack Pemberton officiating. Brown Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. The funeral procession will leave the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be sent to brownfuneralchapel.com.
