Sudie Mae Kelly, 97, of Ironton, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Honoraville, Ala., a daughter of the late Cicero Clayton and Susan Rebecca Bozeman Drye. She attended Wayside Mennonite Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harrison Kelly, on March 7, 1989, whom she married June 10, 1931, in Crenshaw County, Ala.; a daughter, Mary Gaylor; and two sons, Franklin M. “Pete” Kelly and Colen L. “Tad” Kelly.
Surviving are four daughters, Betty Castle of Haverhill, Dixie Kelly of South Point, Thelma Thompson of Worthington, Ky., and Susie (Gerald) Jameson of Wheelersburg; a daughter-in-law, Marlene Kelly of Minford; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at South Webster Cemetery with Pastor John Kelly officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg.
