Ironton couple, others arraigned on drug charges

Several people, including some of those indicted recently on drug charges were arraigned Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.

Nickie Lyons, 19, of 721 Vine St., Ironton, was arraigned on one count of complicity to aggravated trafficking in drugs. She pleaded not guilty through her attorney, Michael Gleichauf. Judge D. Scott Bowling set an own recognizance (OR) bond of $20,000 and ordered her to return to court Nov. 26 for a pretrial conference.

Her husband, Timothy Lyons, 27, of the same address, was arraigned shortly thereafter one three counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs. His attorney, Warren Morford, said his client would plead not guilty at this time but he reserved the right to later change his plea to not guilty by reason of insanity.

“I’m not sure exactly as to his mental state,” Morford told Bowling after he briefly spoke with Timothy Lyons before the court proceeding began. Bowling set bond at $50,000 cash, surety or property and scheduled a Nov. 26 pretrial conference.

Patricia Litteral, 51, of 100 Township Road 203, Ironton, was arraigned on two counts of trafficking in marijuana. She pleaded not guilty through McWhorter, who is also her attorney. Bowling set a $20,000 own recognizance (OR) bond and scheduled a Nov. 26 pretrial conference.

Tonya Middleton, 24, of 2542 S. 11th St., Ironton, was arraigned on one count of illegal processing of drugs. She pleaded not guilty through her attorney, Michael Gleichauf. Judge Charles Cooper set an OR bond of $5,000 and set a Nov. 26 pretrial conference.

Dean Montroso, 37, of 1453 County Road 1, South Point, was arraigned on three counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney, Roger Smith. Cooper set bond at $50,000 cash or surety and scheduled a pretrial conference in two weeks.

Mark A. Eubank, 26, of 2417 S. Fifth St., Ironton, was arraigned on multiple counts of aggravated trafficking in heroin. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney, Dennis Day. Cooper set bond at $25, 000 cash or surety and scheduled a Dec. 10 pretrial conference.

Amy Malone, 25, of 53 Private Drive 72, South Point, was arraigned on two counts of complicity to trafficking in heroin. She pleaded not guilty through attorney, Roger Smith. Cooper set bond at $10,000 cash, surety or property and scheduled a Nov. 26 pretrial conference.

In other matters, Ronnie France, 30, 1618 County Road 144, South Point, was arraigned on one count each of breaking and entering and theft. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney, D.L. McWhorter. Bowling set a property bond of $20,000.

Aaron Wiley, 24, whose last known address was 136 Elizabeth St., Proctorville, was arraigned on one count of failure to appear. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney, Philip Heald. Bowling set bond at $25,000 cash and scheduled a Nov. 19 pretrial conference.

Richard Young, 24, 16144 State Route 7, Crown City,, of, was arraigned on one count each of breaking and entering and theft. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney, David Reid Dillon. Bowling allowed bond set in a lower court to continue and set a Nov. 19 pretrial conference.

Brandi N. Beckleheimer, 21, of Ashland, Ky., was arraigned on one count of theft from the elderly. She pleaded not guilty through Dillon, who is also her attorney. Bowling allowed a bond set in a lower court to continue and scheduled a pretrial conference for Nov. 19.

David Malone 25, of 1112S. Fifth St., Ironton, was arraigned on three counts of sexual battery involving a minor. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney, Derick Fisher. Cooper set bond at $20,000 and scheduled a Dec. 10 pretrial conference.
