Mary R. Payne, 83, of Ironton, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Cornerstone of Saint Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
She was born May 25, 1925, in Jackson, the daughter of the late Abraham and Isabel Isaac.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, ladies choir, and the Women’s International Bowling Congress. Mary retired from Spears and Associates Law office
Her husband, Robert Payne, and a brother George Isaac, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Chris Payne, of Ironton; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and William Robinson, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; one granddaughter, Kayla Robinson; one sister, Margo Hannon, of Ironton; and one brother, Robert Isaac, of Ironton.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Joseph Church with
Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Coal Grove.
The family will receive friends after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday the church. O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
