Richard David Webb, 49, of Pedro, passed away Monday, Nov.17, 2008, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
The Lawrence County native was born Dec.18, 1958, the son of the late Lawrence Webb and Lillian Shope Webb Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Ann Kerns Webb of Pedro, whom he married July 11, 1980.
Mr. Webb was a 1978 graduate of Rock Hill High School. He was a custodian for over 16 years for the Rock Hill School District and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Ray Stewart.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Lee and Tina Webb, of Franklin Furnace; a son, Joseph Gerald “Joe” Webb, of Pedro; a son, Jared David Webb, of Pedro; a son, Joshua Virgin Hill, of North Carolina; a daughter, Kristy Lynn Webb, of Pedro; three grandchildren, Samuel Austin Rusk, of Pedro, Megan Cheynne Hill and Kadance Hill, both of North Carolina; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Doris Webb, of South Point; a brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Pattie Webb, of Ironton; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Dave Russell, of Pedro; a sister, Pam Bailey of Marion; a sister, Jackie Burns, of Ironton; a sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Steve Wilds, of Ironton; his step-brothers, John Stewart and his wife, Mary, of Ironton and Danny Stewart and his wife, Rita, of Ironton; a step-sister, Wanda Gillispie Addis and her husband, Sonny, of Pedro; his half-brothers, Charlie Webb and Jeff Webb; both of Kentucky; a half-sister, Mary Webb of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
